RICHARD BROADHEAD
Trustee
Richard spent the best part of forty years working for local authorities, managing public rights of way and access to the countryside. His career took him from North Yorkshire and the North York Moors, to Sunderland and then to North Somerset before he joined Wiltshire Council in 2003 where he progressed to the role of Head of Countryside, Rights of Way and Streetscene, before retiring in 2021.
As a trustee, Richard brings his experience of working within a number of protected landscapes to help to raise public awareness of the special qualities of the North Wessex Downs and the constant need for the protection and enhancement of this wonderful region.
